Introduction

Hello, my name is Kimberly and I own and operate LRH Flowers  with the help of my husband, children, a few dogs, cats, and chickens - chickens actually help a lot! We have a small bit of land, a big yard really, where I grow flowers. Each year I nudge my husband into making more room for more flowers! Since I don't have acreage I focus on growing my favorite, hard to source flowers, herbs, and greenery. I have been gardening for as long as I can remember, and as many others have said, my first memories of a garden come from my grandma's yard, so sweet. I love looking at sprouted seeds (other crazy plant people will understand this), I am exhilarated when I plant bulbs and they grow, and I cherish the lessons that working with flowers can teach us.

Furthermore, I genuinely enjoy sharing my love of flowers with others. Floral design has provided me with an artistic outlet intertwined with nature and filled a void I didn't know existed!

The Significance of Buying Local Flowers

Over 80% of flowers sold in the U.S. are imported! Local flowers often last much longer in the vase, offer unique varieties that cannot be shipped, and retain fragrance.

Buying locally supports your local economy and your local ecosystem!

We are happy to offer our flowers during the Maryland growing season and supplement responsibly, using local growers and local businesses.
